Core Responsibilities – Your Day‑to‑Day Impact

As a Remote Children’s ABA Therapist, you will work directly in the homes of children ages 2‑18, delivering individualized ABA interventions that promote skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and family empowerment. Your responsibilities include:

  • One‑on‑One ABA Therapy: Conduct in‑home 1:1 sessions that incorporate discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, and behavior support plans.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Accurately record behavior and skill acquisition data during each session, ensuring fidelity to the treatment plan.
  • Implementation of Treatment Plans: Execute behavior support and teaching procedures designed by the supervising BCBA, adapting as needed based on real‑time observations.
  • Collaborative Communication: Maintain open, professional communication with the assigned BCBA, families, and any additional service providers to ensure consistency and progress.

Essential Qualifications – What You Must Bring

  • Education: High school diploma or GED (college coursework in psychology, special education, or a related field is a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of direct work with children in a 1:1 setting, preferably within an ABA or special‑education context.
  • Certification Pathway: Willingness to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (assistance provided).
  • Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and personal auto insurance for travel between client homes.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 35 lb, bend, kneel, squat, and move quickly within a 100‑foot radius to respond to child behaviors.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex concepts in simple, compassionate language.
