Medicare Broker Sales Manager - Remote, North Alabama - Cigna Healthcare
About the position
Responsibilities
• Execute multi-year local broker strategy for book of business
• Influence brokers to sell more by positioning our product and promoting our brand
• Execute on national topline strategies with downline sales agencies & local direct agencies to drive profitable growth through down-line sales
• Develop & execute direct agent strategies to drive profitable growth and member retention
• Search for new local/regional agencies & agents to cultivate and grow
• Manage contacts and exercise long-term vision approach within a designated territory
• Execute on strategy to expand sales efforts across multiple products as appropriate
• Meet or exceed sales objectives through broker channel
• Conduct advertised sales presentations for prospects and leverage community partnerships to host events
• Meet with brokers and agencies to build relationships and promote our brand
• Produce campaign and event tracking reports showing return on investments and key initiatives using data and excel
• Report daily & weekly activities to ensure alignment with creating incremental sales
Requirements
• Current active Health and Life Insurance license
• Experience in sales management or broker management
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to analyze data and produce reports
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry
• Familiarity with Medicare Advantage products
• Knowledge of local market dynamics in North Alabama
