Job Posting Title:ESPN Programming Intern, Remote, Spring 2026Req ID:10133398Job Description:About the Role & Program The Programming department's Mission is to create, acquire and schedule premier content to engage fans and maximize audiences on all platforms. We lead the development of sport strategies across the company and manage relationships with colleagues in other departments, as well as league partners and organizers. The approximate dates of this internship are January through May 2026.What You Will Do As an Intern, you will be part of Programming and Acquisition projects related to ESPN's professional and college sports categories. You will work as a member of the Programming Department at large to contribute to the overall content scheduling strategy for ESPN across platforms and proactively contribute innovative ideas to continue to grow ESPN's business. Responsibilities include:Conducting ratings research and scheduling across linear television and digital media networksDeveloping presentations and communicating with various ESPN departments regarding programming initiativesAssisting with the planning and scheduling of sporting events for college and professional sports and digital mediaRequired Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in television programming or production (academic or internship)Fundamental understanding of ESPN services and offeringsSports knowledge both professional and collegiateBusiness experience in a professional office environmentStrong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectivelyDetail oriented self-starter with outstanding interpersonal skillsPreferred Qualifications & SkillsAppreciation for pop culture, trends and new technologiesAble to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyFundamental knowledge of contract administration processesBasic understanding of other media, e.g., radio, online, print, etc.Education Junior or Senior year preferredMajor or previous coursework in Communications, Sports Media or related major preferredEligibility Requirements & Program InformationCandidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney InternshipCurrent Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or programBe at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorizationAdditional Information Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internshipThe approximate dates of this internship are January through May 2026This internship is a remote position and requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspaceFully available from Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.
