Remote Help Desk Technician / IT Support Technician

We’re currently looking for a remote Help Desk Technician (IT Support) to join our expanding team and help ensure smooth daily operations across all departments.
Job Description:
As a Help Desk Technician / IT Support Technician, you'll be the first point of contact for all technical support issues. You'll assist employees with hardware, software, network, and systems issues – troubleshooting problems and ensuring minimal disruption to productivity.
Responsibilities:
• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Respond to tickets, emails, and phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware.
• Set up and manage user accounts and access permissions.
• Guide users through simple step-by-step solutions.
• Document issues and solutions in the help desk system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support if needed.
Requirements:
• 1+ years experience in a help desk or IT support role.
• Basic understanding of Windows and/or MacOS systems.
• Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk).
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Office 365, Google Workspace, or construction software.
• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar).
• Knowledge of VoIP systems, printers, VPNs.
