Why This Role Is a Game‑Changer for Your Career

In today’s hyper‑connected environment, inside sales professionals are the frontline architects of customer relationships. This position offers you the chance to:

  • Drive revenue growth for a market‑leading security solution.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, product, and customer success—to deliver holistic experiences.
  • Develop a deep understanding of complex enterprise buying cycles, from initial awareness to expansion and renewal.
  • Accelerate your professional development through mentorship, continuous learning programs, and exposure to cutting‑edge technology.

Key Responsibilities – Crafting a Dazzling Customer Experience

Strategic Account Engagement & Adoption

  • Act as a trusted advisor, guiding prospects through onboarding, license key activation, and support ticket navigation.
  • Leverage data‑driven insights to anticipate customer needs and proactively address potential friction points.

Pipeline Creation & Management

  • Make 30+ outbound calls daily, reaching new prospects and nurturing existing relationships to uncover qualified opportunities.
  • Utilize Account‑Based Marketing (ABM) tactics—research, personalization, and multi‑channel outreach—to identify decision‑makers and accelerate pipeline velocity.
  • Document every interaction in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM), ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline health visibility.

Deal Execution, Closing, & Forecasting

  • Own the full sales cycle for small‑to‑mid‑size deals, from qualification to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Revitalize stagnant opportunities by re‑engaging stakeholders, presenting fresh value propositions, and removing barriers to purchase.
  • Collaborate with Senior Account Executives on larger, strategic opportunities, providing support as needed to achieve team targets.

Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing

  • Participate in regular sales enablement sessions, sharpening product knowledge, objection handling, and consultative selling techniques.
  • Share best practices, success stories, and market feedback with the broader sales organization to drive collective excellence.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging security challenges to position Splunk as the solution of choice.

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (Outreach, SalesLoft).
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities, thriving in fast‑paced, constantly evolving sales environments.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and a proactive approach to continuous learning—whether through certifications, webinars, or self‑directed study.
  • Coachable attitude, eager to absorb new methodologies and incorporate feedback into daily practice.
