About the Role

As a Fusion Sales Athlete, you will be at the forefront of our customer acquisition efforts, responsible for generating and qualifying leads, initiating contact with potential customers, and setting solar appointments for our sales team. This role is integral to our sales process, working closely with our Sales Closer team to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads, ultimately driving sales growth and contributing to our mission of connecting people to the cleanest energy on earth. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Conduct professional door-to-door canvassing in assigned residential areas to generate leads and promote solar energy solutions, leveraging your communication skills to educate potential customers about the benefits of renewable energy.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments for our Sales Experts, ensuring that customers receive detailed, personalized information about our solar energy solutions and how they can benefit from them.
  • Training and Team Meetings: Participate in ongoing training sessions and team meetings to enhance your industry knowledge, sales skills, and earning potential, fostering a culture of continuous learning and teamwork.
  • Customer Engagement: Educate homeowners about the advantages of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and energy independence, addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Sales Experts to ensure a smooth customer experience throughout the sales and installation process, demonstrating your ability to collaborate and contribute to team goals.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing any customer concerns or questions, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and track your performance against team and company metrics, setting personal goals and strategies to continuously improve your sales performance and contribute to the team's success.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

  • Age and Education: You must be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's License and Transportation: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for door-to-door canvassing and travel to customer locations.
  • Sales Experience: Prior experience in door-to-door sales, commission-based sales, or retail sales is preferred, although we provide comprehensive training for the right candidates.
  • Continuous Learning: A strong aptitude for acquiring new skills and knowledge, with a willingness to learn about the renewable energy industry and our products.
  • Independence and Time Management: Ability to work independently, creating a productive personal work schedule and managing your time effectively to meet sales targets.
  • Physical Demands: Comfortable working outdoors and walking for extended periods in various weather conditions.
