Remote Engineering Manager – Guest Displays & Platform Leadership for Scalable Consumer Experiences at Airbnb
Why Join Airbnb? – A Global Community of Belonging and Innovation
Founded in 2007 by two visionary hosts who opened their San Francisco home to three guests, Airbnb has blossomed into a worldwide platform that connects millions of hosts and travelers across more than 220 countries. With over 4 million hosts and more than 1 billion guest arrivals, Airbnb is redefining hospitality by offering authentic, experience‑driven stays that empower people to belong anywhere. As a member of this vibrant ecosystem, you’ll be part of a mission‑driven organization that champions curiosity, inclusion, and sustainable travel, while building technology that touches the lives of users on every continent.
The Guest Displays & Platform Team – Our Impact at the Core of the Guest Journey
The Guest Displays & Platform (GDP) team owns the product details page (PDP) for both Stays and Experiences, along with the pricing and availability (P&A) engine that powers every guest‑facing surface. From the moment a traveler searches for a place to stay, through checkout, payment, and post‑stay reviews, the GDP team ensures a seamless, trustworthy, and delightful experience. Our work intersects with Search, Checkout, Listings, User Profiles, Host Settings, Payments, Tax, Cities, and Trust, making collaboration a daily habit. As the Engineering Manager, you will guide a talented group of engineers to shape this critical layer of the Airbnb stack.
