About the Role
We're seeking experienced customer service, call center, virtual support reps, and administrative professionals who are interested in customer satisfaction and administrative work from the comfort of their own homes. As a virtual customer support agent at blithequark, you will be responsible for guiding and helping others find answers to their customer-related support questions. This is a third-party 1099 opportunity that involves using your home computer to remotely answer inbound phone and/or video calls and live chats over the internet from your home office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients via phone, video calls, and live chats
 - Utilize your excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
 - Work independently in a home office setting with minimal supervision, while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency
 - Participate in training and certification programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, with a variety of times available during the day and evening to fit your schedule

Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
Essential Qualifications:
- 6+ months of customer service and/or administrative experience, with call center or phone support experience preferred
 - A home office setting with a computer/laptop, internet connection, and headset hookups
 - A high level of professionalism and a phone adequate for business purposes
 - Excellent typing, communication, and computer skills
 - Availability to work overtime and/or weekends if necessary
 - Willingness to submit to a standard background check, drug test, technology check, and voice assessments
 
Technical Requirements:
- CPU i5 (or equivalent), with i7 recommended, and no Atom, Celeron, Pentium, or Opteron processors
 - Internet download speed of 5Mbs down speed minimum and internet upload speed of 3Mbs up speed minimum
 - Network latency of 250 MS latency max
 - OS Win 8.1 (64bit) or Win 10 (64bit)
 - RAM 4GB minimum, with 8GB recommended
 - A home office setup with an ethernet cord to connect to your computer, and a desktop or laptop connected to a nearby router or wall for firewall/security purposes
 - Note: Chromebooks, iPads, or similar devices are not acceptable
