A growing number of our partner schools are public and charter schools that have adopted the Montessori approach, especially at the elementary level. These institutions often train multiple teachers at a time, making them a vital part of our mission and community.
Position Summary
CGMS is seeking a Public School Partnership Manager to cultivate new and strengthen existing relationships with public schools, districts, and charter networks offering Montessori programs. This new position blends relationship management, project coordination, and outreach. We feel this role is ideal for someone who understands both Montessori and the realities of public education.
The Public School Partnership Manager will serve as the main point of contact for public-sector school partners, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry through ongoing training. They will also identify new partnership opportunities and help school leaders plan professional development pathways for their staff.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain relationships with public and charter school leaders, district administrators, and teacher training coordinators.
• Guide schools through the enrollment process, program options, timelines, and budgeting for staff training.
• Coordinate training cohorts and communicate with CGMS internal teams (enrollment, faculty, and operations) to ensure successful onboarding and implementation.
• Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities through outreach, networking, and collaboration with Montessori and public-education associations.
• Serve as an advocate for Montessori education in the public-school context, sharing best practices and resources.
• Track partner communications, renewals, and satisfaction metrics in CRM systems.
• Represent CGMS at conferences, events, and virtual presentations as needed.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Montessori philosophy and practice (preferred: Montessori certification or leadership experience in a Montessori school).
• Experience working in or with public schools or districts, ideally in an administrative, leadership, or project management capacity.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Comfort with online collaboration tools (Google Workspace, CRM systems, video conferencing software such as Zoom).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or equivalent in education, administration, or related field preferred.
