We're seeking an experienced Depth Test & Calibration Engineer to join our team in a work-from-home capacity. As a key member of our Camera Technologies group, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and testing camera hardware and software that calibrates and tests imaging components for Apple products. As a Depth Test & Calibration Engineer, your core responsibilities will include:- Developing new testers and critical optical components to meet design requirements for calibration and test.
 - Developing and deploying software that calibrates and tests imaging systems.
 - Analyzing volume data to provide guidance on engineering decisions.
 - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to research, design, develop, test, and qualify camera hardware for Apple products.
 - Designing, implementing, debugging, and developing methods to calibrate imaging systems and quantify their performance.
 
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need to have:- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as electrical engineering, computer science, or physics.
 - A strong understanding of imaging systems and optics.
 
Key Qualifications
While a Bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement, we're looking for candidates with:- A strong understanding of camera technology.
 - Experience in image processing or software development, with programming experience in languages like Matlab or C++.
 - Exceptional mechanical, hardware, and software problem-solving and optimization skills.
 - A self-motivated and professional attitude, with a passion for teamwork and collaboration.
 - Experience in lens characterization methodology and calibration, or camera/depth sensing device/optical device test, is a plus.
 
Education & Experience
While a Bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement, we're looking for candidates with relevant experience in camera technology, image processing, or software development. If you have a Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field, that's a definite plus.Additional Requirements

Pay & Benefits
