Located in the Valley of Sun in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, GCU is a regionally accredited, private, nondenominational Christian University. The College of Nursing and Health Care Professions is seeking an immediate full-time NCLEX Success Manager for students in the Accelerated BSN Program. Primarily responsible for the monitoring and execution of the GCU Prelicensure NCLEX success program, to include the assessment and coordination of standardized test results of pre-licensure nursing students. Responsible for creating strategies to recognize at-risk populations to provide resources and opportunities for remediation, and to prepare all pre-licensure nursing students for successful completion of GCU’s Nursing program and to pass the NCLEX-RN exam. This position is heavy in group and individual student coaching. Applicants must have strong interpersonal and assessment skills. Position is predominantly remote, but depending on the site assignment, the person may be required to be on-site or in-person for specific face-to-face sessions as directed by college leadership. Location: Remote Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm AZ time Compensation: $86,000 maximum based on experience Benefits: full benefits portfolio including tuition package Start Date: December 1, 2025 What you will do: • Assess academic and standardized test results of pre-licensure nursing students and recommends strategies for improved course and program outcomes. • Meet with students on a regular basis to monitor utilization of success strategies. • Coach students in test taking skills and strategies for preparation for all exams, (Course, standardized, exit, and NCLEX-RN). • Assess student needs through data analysis and interview techniques to deliver individualized and tailored coaching to improve student’s specific outcomes. • Meet with NLCEX Success Director and leadership as needed to discuss student or cohort progress. • Collaborate with faculty and nursing leadership to find methods to improve academic outcomes and NCLEX pass rates. • Interpret and share results of standardized tests with students and leadership. • Maintain documentation of student coaching. • Monitor effectiveness of success program at assigned sites/locations and reports findings to NCLEX Success Director. Analyze relevant student, cohort, site, and program data to identify gaps in outcomes. • Maintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation. Upholds the tenets of nursing as a holistic profession as well as the pillars of the University. • Support processes and procedures for promoting instructional quality and applied practice in nursing curriculum programs. • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University What you need: • Master’s Degree (MSN) required. • An active, current, and unencumbered Registered Nurse licensure from a compact state. • Experience in assessment of student learning outcomes and remediation strategies required. • Prior experience in preparing students for NCLEX-RN preferred. • Must pass pre-employment background investigations. • Demonstrated experience with standardized testing required. • Demonstrated teaching experience at the collegiate level required. • Demonstrated coaching experience preferred.
