You will be responsible for handling high-volume calls, resolving customer inquiries, and entering patient and medication data into our systems. Your expertise will help us maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and provide timely support to our healthcare professionals. **Key Responsibilities** * Utilize blithequark's remedy information entry methodology and rules to process new enrollments by entering information into our systems. * Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. * Investigate missing medication data and decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). * Resolve all data entry-related exceptions and escalate issues to senior-level staff as needed. * Handle correspondence with patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and resolve outbound decisions to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis. * Settle external exceptions by reviewing, gathering data, making recommendations, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement requirements. * Settle phone calls to healthcare providers and others to acquire data, gain supersede endorsement, or otherwise resolve external exceptions. * Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those in other locations. * Identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as needed. **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent (GED). * Essential level computer skills (e.g., starting and closing a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing documents, and accessing data online). * Essential web browsing skills to include opening a browser, typing URLs in the correct field, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing online forms. * Middle-of-the-road keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing files). * Ability to communicate in writing and verbally. * 18 years old or older. **Preferred Qualifications** * At least one year of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center environment. * At least one and a half years as a pharmacy technician with a declaration/enrollment by the state as conceded by the State Board for Pharmacists or broadly recognized certification agency. * Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction. * Middle-of-the-road to cutting-edge level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, organizing files). * Familiarity with Spanish and English. **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
