Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Live Chat Customer Service Advisor to join our remote team at blithequark. As a Live Chat Customer Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in resolving end-user inquiries, providing accurate and timely information, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve end-user inquiries utilizing multiple technologies, including chat and web-based inquiries, in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide complete and accurate information to customers on every live chat interaction by researching account activity and notes promptly and efficiently.
  • Handle and resolve situations with customers in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Assist management with special projects related to customer service, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
  • Respond to all inbound chats and assist management throughout the shift, with the exception of assigned break times, ensuring seamless coverage and support.

  • Minimum of 3 months of live chat experience, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to pass a typing speed test with a minimum of 50 words per minute, demonstrating strong typing skills and efficiency.
  • At least 1 year of professional customer service experience, preferably in a large Call Center environment as a chat agent, with a focus on resolving customer inquiries and issues effectively.
  • Ability to sit and work at a desk and on a computer for extended periods, maintaining a quiet, distraction-free work environment without conflicting responsibilities during scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to take inbound (voice) phone calls in a conversation-heavy environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English (equivalent to CEF B2 level or above), with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High School diploma or GED, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and reside within an approved state, with a reliable high-speed internet connection meeting our technical requirements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet, along with basic data entry and word processing skills, demonstrating adaptability to new software applications.
