As an Online Enrollment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting this vision and helping us achieve our goals. Job Summary The Online Enrollment Advisor serves as a vital link between HCU and our online students, supporting their academic goals from first contact through matriculation and graduation. As a trusted advisor, you will communicate admissions, academic, and administrative policies, provide guidance on necessary next steps, and offer creative approaches to student retention and support. Key Responsibilities • Communicate all admissions, academic, and administrative policies to students, advising them on necessary next steps. • Assist students in setting short-term goals and follow up with them to ensure progress. • Develop and implement creative approaches to student retention and support. • Resolve student issues and assist them in finding resolution. • Utilize university resources to track student progress and identify outcomes. • Provide exceptional customer service and support to prospective, new, and matriculated students. • Employ proactive outreach strategies to build strong working relationships with the student population. • Respond to emails and phone calls within 24 business hours, with a goal of same-day response. • Assist with special projects and temporary duties as assigned. Qualifications Essential Qualifications • College degree from an accredited college or university. • Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Proficiency in using PC and Mac systems to perform daily tasks. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications • 3 years of experience in an education-related field. • Working knowledge of university resources and ability to recognize when to utilize them to support HCU Online students. • Experience with specific business software and hardware.
