Job Overview and Responsibilities

In this entry-level role, you will have the opportunity to work from home and provide administrative and scheduling support, manage communications, and assist with various organizational tasks. As a Virtual Customer Assistance Representative, you will be the face of American Airlines, interacting with customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients via phone, email, or chat, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of their concerns
  • Managing and responding to customer inquiries, comments, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Assisting customers with self-service kiosk check-in and baggage handling, as well as resolving any issues that may arise during the check-in process
  • Utilizing our internal systems and resources to resolve customer issues, including troubleshooting and escalating complex problems when necessary
  • Collaborating with other teams, such as operations and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution
