About the Role

We are seeking a friendly and passionate self-driven individual to join our Customers Team as a Customer Support Specialist working remotely from Western Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in improving our response time and delivering fantastic service across all time zones. We are specifically looking for someone who is interested and excited about working in the late afternoon and evenings, providing support to our Australian market and European customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering questions and advising current customers on how best to use our product with a friendly tone, primarily via email but also via phone and chat.
  • Answering questions and advising potential customers through email and also video product demos, showcasing our product's features and benefits.
  • Collecting and synthesizing customer insights, being the voice of the customer to help your teammates become better marketers, designers, and builders.
  • Replying to customer reviews across platforms, ensuring that our customers' voices are heard and their feedback is valued.
  • Assisting with internal shipping and logistics questions, providing support to our operations team.

Who We're Looking For

We imagine that you are a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. You must be located in Western Australia and be interested and able to work afternoons and evenings. You should have:

  • 12 – 24 months of proven work experience in customer support or community management, with a strong track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written), with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • A friendly and positive attitude, with a passion for helping others and a desire to learn and grow with our company.
  • Technical skills, with the ability to quickly learn and understand our product and its features.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex issues.
  • Team spirit, with a willingness to help and support your colleagues and contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Self-motivation and self-management skills, with exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in support software, onboarding customers, or collecting customer feedback, with a strong understanding of customer support principles and practices.
  • An interest in accounting, with a basic understanding of financial concepts and principles.
  • Experience with mileage reimbursement, with a strong understanding of the complexities and challenges of mileage logging.
  • Experience working 100% remotely, with a proven track record of success in a remote work environment.
  • Familiarity with "Zappos: Delivering Happiness", with a strong understanding of the importance of customer service and company culture.

What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate of $38.90 AUD/hour, invoiced monthly.
