Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Confidence in using IT systems, including MS Windows and common software applications.

• A reliable broadband connection and a quiet, confidential space at home where you can make calls without distraction or interruption.
• A minimum commitment of four hours per week, for a period of around six months, with flexibility to make calls between 10am and 7pm.

While not essential, we are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who have lived experience of sight loss, as well as those who have experience working in support or advocacy roles. Additional skills or qualifications that would be beneficial include:

• Experience of working with individuals who have experienced sight loss or other disabilities.

• Fluency in languages other than English, reflecting the diversity of the communities we serve.
