Job Overview
We're seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to fill the role of Remote Customer Service Representative. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, providing technical support, and navigating our customers through the often-complex process of finding and enrolling in health insurance. Compensation Details
We offer competitive compensation packages, including:
- Base Pay: $14.50 per hour
- Enhanced Rate: $16.00 per hour, contingent upon weekly attendance and performance
- Spanish Bilingual Base Pay: $15.50 per hour
- Spanish Bilingual Enhanced Rate: $17.00 per hour, contingent upon weekly attendance and performance
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s
- Have a dedicated, private, and secure workspace
- Use a personal laptop or desktop computer for the training period
- Commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period
- Complete a background check and health screening
- Have cable/fiber broadband internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection (note: mobile internet service providers and satellite internet are not compatible with our internal systems)
Essential Responsibilities
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Handling inbound and outbound calls
- Delivering the highest level of customer service experience consistently
- Managing customer accounts and providing technical support
- Entering application data
- Responding to online chat inquiries as assigned
- Interpreting and following defined procedures and policies
- Demonstrating creative problem-solving skills
- Showing flexibility and adaptability in response to changing projects and updates
- Effectively managing time and tasks, including multitasking and prioritizing tasks
- Engaging in extensive self-study, training, and testing, with eligibility to proceed through training and certifications dependent upon passing required exams
- Adhering to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels

Preferred Experience
While not required, the following experiences are preferred:
- Previous experience in customer support or technical support roles
- Previous experience with group and/or individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act
- Previous experience in a call center environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Spanish bilingual skills, a plus
