Job Responsibilities and Expectations

In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel to the association or explicit lines of business, ensuring the association complies with different legitimate boundaries. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering legal and administrative inventories and handling global issues related to arrangement and pertinence questions raised by the Bank's consistency and inner control capabilities
  • Managing associations with accomplices throughout the association, including organizations, control accomplices, and hazard accomplices, as well as external resources such as contract lawyers, trade affiliations, or law offices
  • Handling matters that fundamentally affect the Organization's operations, systems, or benefit, and ensuring that legitimate issues, agreements, debates, and complex exchanges are directed within the reasonable level of investment of the lawful system across the extent of Wells Fargo's activities
  • Surveying and analyzing complex large-scale or long-term challenges that expect to bottom assessment of different elements, identifying and analyzing complex legal issues, fostering ends, and making proposals for issue resolution

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and requirements:

  • 4+ years of Regulation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Active State Bar enrollment or the equivalent in a country outside the US
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management strategies and capabilities, as well as regulatory assumptions for risk management at large banks and financial holding organizations
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to think independently and provide reliable test
  • Proven ability to think strategically and provide smart analysis, with a strong capacity to play an active role in the education, coaching, and training of less experienced colleagues

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not required, the following preferred qualifications and skills will be considered an asset:

  • Related experience in business development, including development and execution of business vision
  • Skilled at navigating situations with fragmented data, quickly evolving needs, and fluid jobs and obligations
  • Strong relationship management skills, including the ability to connect and collaborate with various internal and external partners
  • Ability to analyze legal issues in considerable regulation in the area of education and provide effective counsel to clients on complex legal issues
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and deadlines, with excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills
