Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Analyst to join our team and help drive supply chain optimization for Walmart. As a key member of our analytics team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Data Analyst for Walmart, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that impact the company's supply chain operations. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Data Source Identification: Identify and analyze potential data sources from internal and external resources, and implement strategies for obtaining and integrating data from various sources.
  • Business Context Understanding: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements, and translate those needs into data requirements.
  • Technical Problem Formulation: Formulate technical problems and solutions for data-related challenges, develop and implement algorithms for data analysis and modeling, and evaluate and select suitable software tools, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Data Visualization: Design and execute effective data visualization techniques for presenting complex data, develop and implement powerful dashboards and reports, and collaborate with other teams to create impactful visualizations that inform business decisions.
  • Data Quality Management: Plan and lead efforts to ensure data quality and integrity, develop and implement data governance policies and procedures, and monitor data quality metrics and proactively identify and address issues.
  • Exploratory Data Analysis: Conduct exploratory analyses to generate insights and identify patterns in data, develop and implement statistical analyses and models, and communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
  • Proficiency in SQL, GCP, Tableau, Dataiku: You should have experience working with these tools and be able to develop and implement data-driven solutions using them.
  • Strong Exploratory Data Analysis Skills: You should be able to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns and trends, and develop insights that inform business decisions.
  • Project Management Experience: You should have experience managing projects from start to finish, including developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You should be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to Thrive in Ambiguity: You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines, and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field: A graduate degree in one of these fields would be highly valued.
  • Six Sigma Certification (Green, Black): Certification in Six Sigma would be a plus, especially if you have experience working in a supply chain or operations environment.
