As an Experienced Full Stack Pharmacy Technician for Walgreens, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and healthcare professionals. You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless pharmacy operations, handle customer inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Walgreens' solution information section techniques and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system.
- Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
- Investigate to acquire missing prescription data, and decipher clinical shorthand (SIG codes).
- Settle all information passage-related exceptions.
- Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis.
- Settle Outsider Oddballs by evaluating, gathering data, making remedies, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement requirements.
- Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations.
- Identify and convey issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
Essential Capabilities:
- Must live in Texas.
- Must have a valid Pharmacy Technician license from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., start and close down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print documents, or access data online).
- Basic web search skills (e.g., opening a program, writing in URLs in the right field, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online).
- Moderate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing files).
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Preferred Capabilities:
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
- Moderate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, organizing files).
- Familiarity with Spanish and English.
