You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to engage with industry analysts and help shape their perception and understanding of our organization and its vision for the future. This will involve building strong relationships with key industry analysts, collaborating with marketing to refine our business positioning and drive differentiation, and gathering feedback from industry analysts to inform our strategy and decision-making. **Key Responsibilities** As a Vice President of Industry Analyst Relations, your role will include: * Crafting our organization's end-to-end story, highlighting its unique value proposition and market differentiation * Fostering strong relationships with key industry analysts, increasing their awareness of our organization's strategy, capabilities, and differentiators, which should contribute to improved industry rankings * Developing and executing annual plans that align with business goals, including supporting analyst research and securing leadership positions in relevant reports (Gartner Magic Quadrants, IDC MarketScapes, etc.) * Facilitating timely completion of analyst briefings, surveys, and client reference requests, including managing deadlines, raising awareness of analyst research schedules, and coordinating with SMEs for content creation * Leading our organization's responses to inquiries and reports through original content, client success stories with compelling metrics, and master editing to ensure consistent messaging * Preparing company spokespeople for analyst briefings by hosting prep calls, developing key messages, and creating supporting materials like talking points and slides * Maintaining a deep understanding of our organization's marketing strategy, vision, and competitive landscape, ensuring consistent and effective messaging that highlights our strengths and ecosystem partnerships * Maintaining a repository of past responses, reports, and client references, monitoring analyst publications and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve * Nurturing relationships with key analysts, planning and executing analyst events (conferences & webinars), and securing analyst participation in company-sponsored activities * Evaluating and advising the CMO on analyst subscriptions and services to optimize resource allocation and achieve corporate goals * Managing and supporting the professional development of assigned analysts within the program * Actively supporting participation in analyst research, spearheading responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), managing event participation, and overseeing award and certification applications **What You Will Need to Succeed** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications or equivalent; an advanced degree is preferable * 10+ years of experience in marketing and/or business development, with 5+ years in industry analyst relations, including demonstrated success in building relationships with top analysts * A global perspective and understanding of collaborating with colleagues across time zones * An understanding of the industry analyst relations process * Established relationships with industry analysts that cover our organization (highly desired) * Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels to multiple audiences * Excellent organization, program, and time management, and content development skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet milestones, meet tight deadlines, and communicate status on concurrent projects * Excellent negotiation, influence, mediation, conflict management, and executive stakeholder management skills * Flexibility and a team player, given our highly collaborative, matrix global organization **Pre-Employment Screenings** In accordance with our organization's policy, employment in this position will be contingent on your successful completion and passage of a comprehensive background check, including global sanctions and watch list screening. **Important** We do not accept candidate submissions from unsolicited third parties, such as recruiters or headhunters.
