Key Responsibilities

As a Verizon FIOS Sales Agent, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting customers who are eligible for Verizon FiOS Home services to promote and sell TV and Internet services

  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and performance goals

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications, with the ability to navigate multiple web interfaces and systems
  • Excellent oral, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to relate to customers and offer solutions in a positive and productive manner
  • Self-directed and analytical, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to providing excellent customer service

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Home services experience, particularly in sales, with a strong understanding of the industry and its products
  • Strong sales skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and professionalism
  • Call Center Sales experience or Outside Sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Ability to navigate multiple web interfaces and systems, with a strong understanding of technology and its applications

Required Prerequisites

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following required prerequisites:

  • Pass a 7-year background check, with a clean and satisfactory record
  • Have a secured, designated workspace that is free from distractions and noise, with a reliable internet connection and a Windows 10 or better computer
  • Have a USB headset with microphone, mute, and noise-cancelling function, with a reliable and efficient way of communicating with customers
  • Be available to work a full-time schedule, with a minimum of 38 hours per week, and be willing to participate in ongoing training and development
