Job Overview and Responsibilities

As an Analyst II, Quality Engineer at Walmart, you will play a critical role in our engineering division, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and develop innovative solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or mathematics
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma
  • Ability to create Cycle Stream Graphs and Interaction Stream Graphs
  • SQL experience, with the ability to provide analysis and recommendations for system improvements
  • Proficiency in BigQuery, Microsoft SQL Server, and Informix
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerApps and other data visualization tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or mathematics
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools, such as Jira or Asana
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or Java
  • Experience with data science and machine learning techniques, such as predictive modeling or natural language processing
  • Certification in quality engineering or a related field, such as CQE or CMQ/OE
