Role Overview – Senior Product Manager, Dealer Value Delivery & Vehicle Fulfillment

As a Senior Product Manager you will act as the visionary and tactical lead for a critical product value stream—whether that’s Customer Acquisition & Retention, the Post‑Sale Fulfillment journey, or one of our high‑margin value‑add services such as transportation and insurance. You will be responsible for defining the strategic roadmap, translating market insights into feature specifications, and guiding cross‑functional teams from ideation through launch and iteration.

This is an immediate‑start, remote position with a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits suite, and the chance to influence the future of automotive remarketing at a publicly traded, global organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own a Product Value Stream: Lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of a defined value stream (e.g., Post‑Sale Fulfillment), setting vision, strategy, and measurable outcomes.
  • Roadmap Definition & Execution: Create, prioritize, and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with business goals, customer needs, and technology constraints.
  • Customer & Market Insight: Conduct deep research—user interviews, surveys, field studies, and competitive analysis—to uncover pain points, emerging trends, and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Define key performance indicators (KPIs), build dashboards, and use quantitative data (SQL, Python, analytics platforms) to validate hypotheses and guide iterative improvements.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership: Partner with Operations, Finance, Sales, Engineering, Design, and Marketing to ensure alignment, secure resources, and remove blockers.
  • Product Discovery & Validation: Run rapid prototyping, A/B testing, and usability studies to validate concepts before full‑scale development.
  • Go‑To‑Market (GTM) Strategy: Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to craft launch plans, messaging, pricing, and enablement materials that drive adoption and revenue.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Produce clear, concise product briefs, executive summaries, and status updates; present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement: Establish feedback loops, monitor post‑launch performance, and champion a culture of relentless optimization.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS) considered a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of product management experience in digital domains such as e‑Commerce, SaaS, or marketplace platforms. Automotive industry exposure is advantageous.
  • Domain Ownership: At least 3 years of end‑to‑end ownership of a product domain—including ideation, roadmap creation, go‑to‑market, and results measurement.
  • Analytical Expertise: Proven ability to translate raw data into actionable insights; comfortable working with SQL, Python, or analytics tools.
  • User‑Centric Design: Demonstrated skill in crafting intuitive user experiences and validating them through direct customer feedback.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

  • Track record of successfully launching online products that achieve measurable business impact.
  • Experience building and leading high‑performing, cross‑functional teams that collaborate seamlessly.
  • Familiarity with segment‑level customer data tracking and instrumentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to speak fluently to both technical and business audiences.
  • Exceptional prioritization—knowing when to say “yes” and when to defer.
  • Hands‑on experience with mobile and web customer‑facing applications.
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, agile practices, and rapid iteration.
  • Comfort presenting to senior leadership, creating compelling narratives that align product strategy with corporate goals.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Strategic Vision: Ability to see the bigger picture while drilling down into details that matter.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast‑changing macro‑economic environment, shifting priorities, and emerging technology trends.
  • Collaboration: Build trust across disciplines; mediate differing viewpoints to achieve consensus.
  • Data Literacy: Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to drive decisions and prove impact.
  • Customer Obsession: Continuously empathize with users—dealers, buyers, and internal stakeholders—to deliver frictionless experiences.
  • Execution Excellence: Translate strategy into concrete deliverables on time and within scope.
