The Actuarial Development Program (ADP): Your Launchpad to Leadership
The Actuarial Development Program (ADP) is an industry‑leading, 3‑to‑5‑year rotational journey designed to accelerate your growth from a high‑potential associate actuary to a strategic leader. Participants rotate every 18‑24 months across core business lines—Life & Annuities, Retirement, Group Protection, and now, a newly‑expanded Chief Risk Office. Each rotation immerses you in product development, pricing, valuation, asset‑liability management, data analytics, and enterprise risk management. The ADP is built on a strong foundation of mentorship, exam support, and hands‑on experience with state‑of‑the‑art actuarial tools such as MG‑ALFA, Axis, Prophet, Dataiku, R, and Tableau. Your success is celebrated: competitive salary increases, bonuses tied to actuarial exam milestones, and generous study‑time allowances ensure you can achieve Fellowship of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) while delivering real business value.
Why This Role Is Different: Associate Actuary – Risk Management (Remote/Hybrid)
Lincoln’s Chief Risk Office is expanding rapidly as part of a strategic commitment to embed risk awareness throughout the organization. In this pivotal position, you will become a trusted risk analyst, leveraging stochastic modeling, scenario analysis, and advanced analytics to drive enterprise‑wide risk governance. You will work closely with business lines, data‑science teams, and senior leaders to translate complex risk metrics into clear, actionable insights that influence strategic decisions. The role blends traditional actuarial expertise with modern data‑visualization and automation techniques—making it an ideal fit for forward‑thinking professionals who thrive at the intersection of quantitative rigor and business impact.

- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships across corporate functions and business units. Present complex risk analyses in concise, visually compelling formats that drive consensus and informed action.
- Continuous Learning & Exam Progression: Pursue actuarial exams at a prescribed pace, supported by Lincoln’s tuition assistance, exam‑fee reimbursement, and dedicated study time.
