Strategic Communications Specialist / Must Possess a Secret Clearance
About the position
Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day strategic communication support to the PMO.
• Handle sensitive or confidential information.
• Coordinate strategic communications and holiday messages.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute town halls and conferences.
• Prepare and coordinate briefings.
• Write publications and articles.
• Maintain the PM IPPS-A briefing library.
• Prepare speeches and talking points for IPPS-A leadership.
• Prepare various documents such as correspondence, forms, reports, and spreadsheets using advanced word processing skills.
• Advise writers on style, syntax, and usage to improve communication quality.
Requirements
• 10 years of experience in strategic communications or related field.
• Master's degree (MA/MS) or equivalent years of experience.
• Proven track record of working on high-visibility or mission-critical programs.
• Must possess a Secret Clearance.
• General knowledge of DoD acquisition processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products.
• Knowledge of the Army's AR 25-50.
