If you're passionate about solving intricate problems, turning ML models into production-ready applications, and working in a culture that values both operational excellence and customer obsession, we invite you to join our team and help shape the future of global standards in customer excellence.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Design and develop novel ML/AI approaches and algorithms to solve complex business problems, leveraging deep knowledge in at least one computer science discipline</li><li> Write production-quality code (meeting SDE I standards) to implement ML/AI solutions that are efficient, reproducible, and testable</li><li> Deploy and maintain ML/AI models in production systems, ensuring operational excellence and efficient resource usage</li><li> Analyze performance of methods and models, iteratively improving them based on quantitative metrics and customer feedback</li><li> Document algorithms, design choices, and technical implementations thoroughly to enable knowledge sharing and reproducibility</li><li> Work semi-autonomously on projects while making appropriate technical tradeoffs between business requirements and implementation constraints</li><li> Contribute to team's strategic planning including goals, priorities, and technical roadmaps</li><li> Publish research findings in internal reports and external peer-reviewed venues when aligned with business needs<br><br></li></ul><strong>About The Team<br><br></strong>What We Do: at Amazon, we deliver millions of packages daily across our global network. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
