About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Global Merchant Services Technology team. As a Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional project and program teams, working closely with internal customers to establish and interpret project/program objectives into solutions. You will collaborate with Product, Engineers, Architects, Leadership, and other key partners to ensure completeness and efficiency of solutions while ensuring alignment to standards. Delivering value-based outcomes using Agile practices and processes is key to this role, and you will be expected to understand the products and functionality in support of platforms within Technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-year project roadmaps and workplans, identifying ideal state and the strategic plan to achieve it, while ensuring progress is made on next steps towards achieving program milestones.
  • Manage key transformational projects, problem-solving and prioritizing throughout, to implement governance structure and ensure delivery on key objectives.
  • Facilitate and lead technical conversations (e.g., relating to architectural approach and system design) and document solutions.
  • Drive team/release level processes demonstrating servant leadership coupled with domain knowledge and technical acumen.
  • Facilitate Sprint planning meetings and other Scrum ceremonies with delivery team.
  • Ensure dependency alignment across teams.
  • Execute the Program Increment (PI) objectives to support the strategy, vision, and road map.
  • Work in partnership with Product Owners and the core and extended team to build and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Track iteration progress, actively adding to design discussions, issue resolution, and removing obstacles to ensure sprint/iteration commitments are met.
  • Measure user story execution.
  • Coach teams to embrace the Technology SDLC process, Agile values, principles, and practices, and actively inspire teams to reflect and improve their delivery capacity.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience working in Project/Program management and driving transformation projects in business and technology organizations.
  • Experience with driving Continuous Improvement initiatives with proven results.
  • Experience in driving large-scale strategic business Reengineering initiatives and driving culture change in a large organization.
  • A demonstrated track record of independently driving end-to-end results across priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and executing flawlessly.
  • A self-starter with an ability to navigate ambiguity, form solutions out of white space, and easily adapt to a constantly evolving environment while continuing to make progress towards goals.
  • Strong relationship and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate, build trust, and influence others across diverse audiences and at all levels in an organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including excellent active listening skills.
  • High intellectual curiosity, ability to solve complex problems, strategic thinking mindset, and innovative thought leadership.
  • Experience in developing high-quality presentations and communication materials for an executive audience.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive results.
  • Strong analytic and decision-making abilities, financial acumen, and business analysis expertise.
  • Ability to translate high-level strategic ideas into structured opportunities, ability to create and drive implementation plan.
  • PMP certification and experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to think strategically, demonstrate flexibility, absorb new information quickly, and adapt to change.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable:

  • Experience working in a global organization with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the payments industry and digital payments solutions.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and data-driven decision making.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Jira.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on experience and location. In addition to your base salary, you will be eligible for bonus incentives and a range of benefits, including:
