Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business requirements documents that drive product prioritization, technical design, and architectural review
  • Craft user stories and acceptance criteria to effectively communicate product requirements to development teams
  • Develop comprehensive business requirements documents for complex, multi-phase projects that meet business objectives and customer needs
  • Review technical designs created by engineers to ensure proposed solutions meet business requirements, scalability, reliability, availability, and accessibility standards
  • Partner with the Education Programs Architect to align proposed solutions with the overall technical architecture and design principles for Education Programs
  • Own the short- and long-term product roadmap for specific programs, driving product vision and operational plans
  • Anticipate future needs and define a compelling vision for your products, contributing to the growth and success of AWS Education Programs

  • Defining product vision and writing PRFAQ documents to guide product development

  • Collaborating with cross-program teams and program stakeholders to make informed product decisions and drive product releases

Qualifications and Skills

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experiences
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs in product development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management processes
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines
