Blithequark is seeking an exceptional Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse and Analytics to lead our Trust and Safety team in the fight against online abuse and misinformation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of adversarial abuse, including account takeovers, spam, and engagement abuse, as well as developing and implementing data-driven solutions to stay ahead of emerging threats. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Adversarial Abuse team responsible for identifying and mitigating threats, including account takeovers, spam, and engagement abuse.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to stay ahead of emerging threats and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Policy Development, to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of analysts, engineers, and data scientists.
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to ensure effective operational execution and alignment with company goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including law enforcement, industry partners, and government agencies.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, data science, or engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in risk management, fraud prevention, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience working with data infrastructure and machine learning models.
  • 2 years of experience leading teams with the ability to work non-standard hours.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Postgraduate education in a related field, such as data science, engineering, or computer science.
  • 2 years of experience with data analysis and anomaly detection.
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in anti-abuse activities.
  • Proficiency in SQL, R, or Matlab.
  • Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, and analytical skills, including the ability to drive business decisions with data.
