As a Phone & Chat Specialist, you'll be an integral part of this mission, working closely with our team to verify credentials, facilitate communication, and provide exceptional customer service. **Responsibilities** As a Phone & Chat Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: * Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner, ensuring that customers receive prompt and courteous service * Handling multiple chat channels simultaneously, providing real-time support to customers * Following established communication scripts to address various topics and concerns * Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching solutions, and providing alternatives to meet their requirements * Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide informed solutions * Performing data entry and customer service tasks with precision and attention to detail * Navigating online platforms efficiently to access customer information and resources * Working with requests and records received from customers seeking to sign up for shifts * Verifying customers' credentials and ensuring they meet the requirements of the healthcare facilities they're working with * Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, seamlessly transitioning between tasks and maintaining composure under pressure * Maintaining punctuality and attendance, ensuring that you're available at your desk during scheduled times * Providing positive and professional interactions with customers, exceeding their expectations and building trust in blithequark's services **Qualifications** To succeed as a Phone & Chat Specialist at blithequark, you'll need: * At least 1 year of customer service or customer support experience, with a strong background in call center or office environments * Technical savvy, with the ability to navigate online platforms and software applications * Previous remote work experience is a plus, but not required * Quick learning abilities and the capacity to work independently, with minimal supervision * Accurate typing skills, with a minimum speed of 35 words per minute * Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with active listening abilities * A background check that meets state and federal laws, ensuring your suitability for this role **Benefits and Compensation** As a Phone & Chat Specialist at blithequark, you can expect: * A competitive starting pay rate of $14/hour, with a shift differential of $1/hour for nights and weekends * Opportunities for pay increases after 90 days, pending attendance and performance * A comprehensive benefits package, including paid training, health insurance, and retirement plans * A flexible work schedule, with shifts between 7:00am-7:00pm (CST) and rotating weekends * A supportive work environment, with opportunities for career growth and professional development * Access to state-of-the-art equipment and software, ensuring you have the tools you need to excel in your role **Equipment and Software Requirements** To ensure seamless communication and data entry, you'll need: * A laptop or desktop computer with an Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater processor * 8GB of RAM on Windows 8.1/10 64-bit * A screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher, with dual monitors required * A USB headset for clear and concise communication * Up-to-date antivirus software and a recent scan completed * A firewall enabled, ensuring the security of our systems and data **Why Join blithequark?** At blithequark, we're committed to creating a work environment that's engaging, supportive, and rewarding.
