As a key member of the in-house Trading Desk team, you will be responsible for developing and executing paid social campaign management activities that drive traffic and revenue.
About the Role & Team
The Social Media Manager II will report to the Manager, Social Media Strategy & Activation, and will be responsible for leading the paid social ecommerce strategy for blithequark's direct-to-consumer retail. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with paid social buying, campaign management, and data analysis, as well as a strong understanding of online trafficking and tracking via ad servers and digital analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead paid social ecommerce strategy for blithequark's direct-to-consumer retail and drive this forward through innovation.
 - Provide strategic input and guidance to best achieve client goals and implement, manage, and optimize paid social advertising campaigns that achieve the business's traffic and revenue goals.
 - Ensure proper campaign setup to track properly in Adobe SiteCatalyst and paid social buying platforms, including YouTube, Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, X, and Pinterest.
 - Create strategy proposals for new campaigns or account structures based on objectives provided by strategy partners.
 - Work with cross-functional teams to identify and design tools to improve efficiency and partner across teams, organizations, and companies to improve overall technical setup and inter-departmental workflow.
 - Present campaign performance and insights to key team members, using expertise to provide actionable findings and recommendations for future campaigns.
 - Identify and implement new testing opportunities to evolve business-as-usual campaigns or first-to-market alpha/beta tests that promote innovation.
 
Essential Qualifications & Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5 to 7+ years of digital marketing experience with eCommerce, and extensive experience with social media advertising platforms and related tools.
 - A strong understanding of online/offline data, including its use in the digital and social space.
 - A strong grasp on analytics, measurement, and proper test structures to help coach the team on advanced analysis and testing.
 - Familiarity with work management platforms such as Workfront, JIRA, Smartsheet, etc., and the ability to enhance the team's use of these tools.
 - A high level of autonomy and the ability to distill technical details into simple, understandable terms that motivate action through aligned values and goals.
 
Preferred Qualifications
A four-year college degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Business, Social Media, Analytics, or Statistics is preferred. Any relevant degree or background is a plus.
