• * office. As PR/Communications Specialist you will create internal and external communications, manage projects, and develop targeted public relations campaigns.
This role will give you the opportunity to contribute in many ways, including:
• Writing feature articles about projects, people and technical topics
• Reporting Freese and Nichols news, finding newsworthy stories and presenting them in a strategic way
• Conducting research using internal and external resources
• Interviewing technical staff, corporate leaders, and clients
• Editing and proofreading content in accordance with style guide
• Designing layout of print or digital materials
• Supporting the Corporate Meetings Manager as needed by organizing participation in professional conferences
• Contributing to other areas of marketing and sales when needed
• Exercising judgment about communications messaging, strategies and tactics
• Learning the Freese and Nichols strategic plan and our sales and recruitment processes
• Understanding Freese and Nichols style and graphics standards
• Becoming familiar with the A/E/C industry, including the capabilities of Freese and Nichols and individual employees
• Tracking statistical data and contributes to reports
• Identifying areas and processes for improvement or efficiency# Qualifications

• ** Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism or other related discipline

• ** Experience in the A/E/C industry#
