Informatics Educator

About the position Responsibilities • Develop and deliver training for hospital clinical and business information systems. • Conduct needs and skills assessments for end users to determine training requirements. • Create training documentation and outlines for various clinical and business modules/applications. • Deliver training to end-users with varying levels of computer literacy. • Assess priorities and manage time effectively to meet deliverables. • Translate complex data and workflow analysis into actionable curricula for training programs. • Prepare and conduct effective presentations for diverse groups. • Support multiple applications simultaneously while coordinating activities. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in nursing, education, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Three years of training, education, or healthcare-related experience. • Knowledge of healthcare applications, technology, and automated systems. • Experience with Epic software and providing classroom or on-site training. • Valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Nice-to-haves • Master's degree in a related field. • Certification(s) related to business, clinical, or financial applications/systems. • Professional clinical licensure (e.g., RN, Radiology, Laboratory, Pharmacy).
