About the Role: Pharmacy Technician, Clinical Customer Care
We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our virtual Clinical Call Center team at blithequark. As a Call Center Technician, you'll play a vital role in improving patient adherence and health outcomes for individuals managing various disease states, such as Diabetes, Obesity, Respiratory Illnesses, Chronic Kidney Disease, and more. Your work will be instrumental in providing one-on-one therapy support to patients, helping them better manage their conditions and achieve improved health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to patients enrolled in adherence-based programs, providing timely and consistent communication to support their medication regimen.
- Address patient concerns, troubleshoot issues, and provide appropriate resolutions to ensure patient satisfaction and program success.
- Identify clinical support needs and escalate calls to Pharmacists on the team to further discuss concerns, such as medication adherence barriers or clinical-related challenges faced by patients.
- Utilize blithequark procedures and guidelines to handle patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and interactions, call outcomes, program enrollments, and progress updates using various computer systems, software, and databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for program improvement, propose innovative ideas, and contribute to the development and implementation of patient-centric enhancements.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors through huddles, team meetings, cohort refreshers, and technology updates.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a resident of Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, or Vermont due to regulatory compliance.
- Hold an active Pharmacy Technician license in your state of residence.
- Be able to obtain a Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician license through application and fee.
- Have 1+ year(s) of experience in retail healthcare, preferably in a high-volume call center.
- Possess a minimum of one consecutive year of experience in customer service.
- Maintain a consistent, reliable, and stable internet connection.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge:
- Prior Call Center experience.
- Previous experience working from home.
- Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Windows-based applications and MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Flexibility in work schedule.
Education and Compensation
A verifiable High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is required. The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $31.30 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for a blithequark bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program.
