About the Role
As a Provider Customer Service Call and Chat Representative at blithequark, you will be the advocate for healthcare providers, resolving their queries and concerns through phone calls and concurrent chats. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing a range of topics, including benefits and eligibility, billing and payments, clinical authorizations, explanation of benefits, and behavioral health. This is a full-time, remote opportunity that requires a high level of professionalism, multitasking, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare providers, resolving their issues and answering queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Handle multiple channels of communication, including phone calls and concurrent chats, to provide seamless customer service.
- Triage contacts from healthcare professionals, identifying their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Research and resolve complex prior authorization and claim issues, taking steps to prevent repeat calls and escalations.
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure issues are resolved and communicated to providers in a timely manner.
- Navigate multiple systems to extract necessary information, leveraging your multitasking skills to resolve issues across various lines of business.
- Influence providers to utilize self-service digital tools, aiding in faster resolution and navigation.
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, with a proven track record of analyzing and solving customer concerns.
- Proficiency in computer and Windows PC applications, with the ability to learn new and complex systems.
- Typing speed of 35-40 WPM with an accuracy of 90%.
- Availability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/week), with flexibility to work any 8-hour shift between 9:35 AM - 6:05 PM CST, Monday - Friday.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a related environment, such as a call center or customer service role, using phones and computers as primary job tools.
- Prior healthcare experience and knowledge of healthcare terminology.
Telecommuting Requirements
- Reside within the state of New Mexico.
- Ability to maintain the security and confidentiality of company-sensitive documents.
- Dedicated work area that is separate from living areas and provides information privacy.
- Access to a high-speed internet connection that meets blithequark's requirements.
