Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Security and Legal Information Engineering team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in building robust, scalable, and privacy-driven data structures that enable us to maintain the highest level of data protection and compliance with local security regulations and guidelines in over 190 countries where we operate. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop efficient, scalable, and flexible data pipelines to handle structured and unstructured data using various technologies such as Flash, Voila, Flink, Kafka, and others
• Write ETL responsibilities to collect and aggregate data, and build high-quality data structures that enable suitable handling of customer personal data
• Collaborate with the privacy engineering teams to understand product objectives and provide data that enables us to respond to customer and regulatory data demands
• Maintain and re-evaluate existing datasets and pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity

Essential Qualifications

• Passionate about consumer-driven data privacy and risk mitigation for the business
• Highly skilled in at least one of Java, Python, or Scala with at least 2 years of programming/data engineering experience

• Experienced in designing data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Voila, Flash, Flink) on medium to large-scale datasets
• Successful in taking requirements and implementing scalable data models and pipelines
