About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative with blithequark's Caremark Member Operations division, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our plan members. You will work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, assisting members with their pharmacy benefit plans, answering questions about prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions. Your goal will be to provide personalized support, ensuring our members understand their coverage and options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take inbound calls from plan members, responding to questions and concerns about their pharmacy benefit plans.
  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate information about prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to address complex issues and provide solutions that meet members' needs.
  • Document member interactions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information in our systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to resolve issues and improve the overall member experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry trends, product knowledge, and company policies.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

Essential Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience interacting with customers in a call center, retail, customer service, or hospitality environment.
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications, with ability to learn and adapt to new software systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 months of health care experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a positive and productive manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to relate to customers in a patient, helpful way.
  • Reliability and compliance with scheduling standards.
  • Ability to exhibit patience, empathy, and confidence when interacting with members.
