The Role: Part-Time or Per Diem Remote Clinician
We're seeking talented and dedicated clinicians to join our team on a part-time or per diem basis. As a remote clinician with Verge Therapy, you'll have the autonomy to manage your caseload while working collaboratively with our team to deliver outstanding care to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team that's shaping the future of mental health care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care to a caseload of clients, assessing their needs, developing treatment plans, and supporting their goals and progress.
- Conduct initial diagnostic evaluations and create customized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Deliver weekly or bi-weekly therapy sessions using appropriate modalities of treatment, ensuring that clients receive the care they need to thrive.
- Maintain accurate and timely client progress notes using our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Provide clients and their families with the necessary resources to achieve their treatment goals, monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other agencies, providers, and community outreach programs to ensure continuity of care and access to needed services.
- Stay current with the latest practices and advancements in the field by completing continuing education courses required for Massachusetts licensure.
- Ensure timely communication with clients and assess client safety in each session, developing safety plans or recommendations as necessary.
- Adhere to our safety procedures, including the immediate reporting of any client safety concerns.
- Participate in required meetings and supervisions to support your professional growth and the success of our team.
- For licensed clinicians, enroll in and complete the CAQH Proview Application and apply for credentialing with approved insurance panels.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's degree or more advanced degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited program. While we welcome applicants at various stages of their careers, we prefer candidates with at least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting. Experience with evidence-based therapeutic models and electronic medical record systems is also highly valued.
Essential Skills and Competencies
- The ability to provide comprehensive behavioral health assessments, diagnose, and develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Strong independent work ethic combined with the ability to collaborate as part of a cohesive team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Proficiency in electronic charting and documentation, ensuring that all records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant regulations.
