Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Licensed Personal Lines Insurance Agent, you will interface with customers via inbound/outbound calls and/or via the Internet, providing customer service support and resolution of routine problems and questions regarding client products and/or services. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home and enjoy a better work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively listen and ask questions to identify customer needs and provide personalized solutions
  • Advise on plan options, coverages, and pricing to ensure customers make informed decisions
  • Process new and/or amended enrollments efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure our clients' customers enjoy authentic experiences and deliver expert customer experiences with a smile
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An active Personal Lines resident license to sell insurance
  • 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in the insurance industry
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking and ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing processes and procedures
  • Passion for helping others and providing exceptional customer experiences
  • Patient and empathetic nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet all eligibility requirements
  • Must reside in the United States or have a valid U.S. address for residence

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Bilingual Spanish skills, with a pay rate of $20/hr.
  • Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with insurance products and services, including personal lines and property and casualty insurance
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology platforms
