Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in a remote capacity. As a key member of our Participant Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our participants via inbound calls, assisting with basic login assistance and website navigation, and identifying calls that require additional support. This is a temp-to-hire position that offers a competitive hourly rate of $18/hr and a schedule of 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. While this is a remote position, you must be able to travel to our office in University Place, WA, as needed for walk-in appointments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound participant calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries and concerns.
  • Assist participants with basic login assistance and website navigation, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Identify calls that require additional support and hand them off to our main service team, ensuring that participants receive the necessary assistance.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our proprietary software and services, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with our team to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction ratings, contributing to the growth and success of blithequark.

Essential Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing time effectively.

  • Experience in the financial services or retirement benefits industry, with knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.
