About the Role
As a Store Coach/Ops Mgr Trainee, you'll play a critical role in driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, and developing the skills of our associates. You'll work closely with our store leadership team to achieve business objectives, implement company initiatives, and foster a culture of excellence. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in retail operations, leadership, and management, and to develop the skills and expertise needed to succeed in a senior leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Develop Teams: Teach, train, and mentor associates to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
- Model Exceptional Customer Service: Demonstrate the One Best Way (OBW) service model and support customer service initiatives to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
- Drive Financial Performance: Review and evaluate P&L statements, manage budgeting and forecasting, and control expenses to achieve sales and profit goals.
- Supervise and Develop Associates: Hire, train, and mentor hourly associates, assign duties, and provide recognition and feedback to promote growth and development.
- Coordinate and Complete Job-Related Activities: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, support plans and initiatives, and identify and address improvement opportunities.
- Ensure Compliance and Integrity: Implement company policies and procedures, support the Open Door Policy, and provide direction and guidance on applying company values and standards.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- 2 years' of college; OR
- 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR
- 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
Additionally, you'll be required to successfully complete a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training, if applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
