About the Role: Pediatric Mental Health Therapist
We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Mental Health Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a virtual therapist, you'll provide high-quality mental health counseling and therapeutic interventions to K-12 students within our partner school districts. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual mental health counseling and therapeutic interventions to an assigned caseload of K-12 students, utilizing evidence-based practices.
 - Conduct initial mental health intake assessments, create individual treatment plans, and perform ongoing assessments of student progress.
 - Collaborate with the care management team to ensure successful transitions into Hazel services and identify external transition services as needed.
 - Participate in trainings, meetings, and other activities as an active member of our clinical team.
 - Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to established guidelines and requirements.
 - Meet minimum required weekly availability and productivity levels established by Clinical Leadership.
 - May provide consultative telehealth crisis support for school partners or students, as assigned.
 
Essential Qualifications:
- Licensed without restrictions as a LISW, LMHC, or LMFT.
 - Active license in Iowa and the state where you reside.
 - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school-based setting or working with school-aged children.
 - Ability to obtain an acceptable Fingerprint (FBI) Criminal Background check upon hire.
 - Working knowledge of diagnosis and assessment practices, treatment strategies, and interventions related to the mental health needs of children and their families.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Telehealth experience.
 - Additional licenses in AL, CA, CO, FL, GA, HI, MD, MA, MO, NV, PA, TX, VA, and/or WA.
 - Bilingual skills (Spanish, Mandarin, Armenian, Russian, Korean, and Tagalog fluency highly desired).
 - Strong technological skills, including the ability to learn new software and programs and complete digital documentation.
 
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of $45.50-$68 for all hours paid equally (no shows, training, sessions, admin, etc.) as a W2 employee.
 - A $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments: $500 at the start and $500 at the 6-month anniversary, contingent on verification of your active license in Iowa.
