As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain management, and contribute to our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and quality products.

Key Responsibilities

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for a range of duties that are critical to our logistics and supply chain management. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and processing incoming freight, executing receipt transactions in our ERP system, and reporting any discrepancies in shipments through Eaton's Cargo Claims process.
• Conducting cycle counts, constructing kits, pulling spare parts, and ensuring materials are received into stock.
• Packaging and processing shipments via our ERP system, generating bill of ladings for outbound shipments, scheduling LTL and direct air shipment pickups, and creating documentation for international shipments.
• Fostering a team-oriented environment and showcasing exceptional customer service skills.
• Upholding a zero-defects and right-the-first-time approach, and working towards the implementation of new strategies and initiatives to effectively fulfill or surpass customer expectations.
• Operating independently under limited supervision, demonstrating self-reliance and initiative.
• Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other relevant personnel.
• Performing data entry for inbound shipments using our ERP system.
• Ensuring products are delivered to the correct location or personnel within the organization.
• Assisting Contracts personnel as needed for status updates or to resolve concerns.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Proficient in English, both oral and written.
• Minimum 1 year's experience in receiving, shipping, warehouse, and inventory control in a Manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 1 year's experience using Microsoft Office programs, Excel, and Word, etc.
• Excellent communication and diplomacy skills.
• Strong personal work ethic and values, collaborator, and ability to work in a complex environment.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Forklift Certified.
• DOT/IATA Certified.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a receiving/shipping clerk.
• Aerospace experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience using ERP systems.
