Job Overview
As a Marketing Strategy Associate, you'll play a vital role in supporting the marketing strategy and execution for Disney Meetings & Events business needs, as well as assisting Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons marketing team when needed. Your expertise will help drive brand awareness, generate leads, and increase revenue for the meetings and gatherings events businesses, catering to both B2B and B2C needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for a portfolio of platforms and products, driving business growth and brand awareness.
 - Provide copywriting and communication support for advertorials, blog content, and other writing assignments, catering to B2C and B2B client needs.
 - Lead generation support via social channels and 1:1 engagement with consumers, fostering meaningful connections and driving conversions.
 - Execute various marketing tactics to achieve sales goals, leveraging industry trends, target audience insights, and data analysis.
 - Manage website content requests and maintenance tickets, ensuring seamless website management and updates.
 - Provide guidance and approvals for client-produced marketing materials that include Disney-provided IP, maintaining brand consistency and integrity.
 - Support requests to leverage existing photo and video assets for marketing or promotional purposes, maximizing asset utilization and minimizing production costs.
 - Lead planning and onsite logistics for photo/video shoots, ensuring high-quality content creation and brand representation.
 - Develop and implement social media content editorial and campaigns, driving engagement and brand awareness.
 - Manage collateral (print, digital, etc.) to provide sales tools that are easily accessible and useful for the team, supporting the sales process and improving conversion rates.
 - Assist with ongoing reporting and analysis of key performance metrics for marketing, informing data-driven decisions and optimizing marketing strategies.
 - Collaborate with key inter-departmental partners and vendors to produce and execute tactics supporting the overall marketing strategy plan, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation.
 
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing strategy, sales, and/or account management within the hospitality industry, preferably with a convention center, hotel, tourism agency, or related brand marketing department.
 - Experience working with multiple marketing platforms, including website, social media, print, digital media, CRM, and collateral, with a deep understanding of their strengths and limitations.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Mac OS, and presentation development, with the ability to create engaging and informative presentations.
 - The ability to multi-task and meet quick deadlines in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
 - Strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze data, assess business needs, and consider guest experience when making informed decisions.
 - Experience building positive inter-departmental relationships to achieve results, fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
 - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and engage diverse audiences.
 
Preferred Qualifications

- Extensive knowledge of the Walt Disney Company, its values, and its brand identity.
 - Familiarization with the Meeting, Convention, and Events Industry, including trends, challenges, and best practices.
 - Experience executing CRM tactics, with a deep understanding of customer relationship management principles and strategies.
 - Video production knowledge, including pre-production, production, and post-production processes.
 - Creative skills to produce engaging, relevant, and eye-catching content, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation.
 - Basic design skills, including proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, and Photoshop, with the ability to create visually appealing graphics and materials.
 
Education and Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience, is required for this role.
