Our Enterprise Data Strategy team is a critical component of our Digital Risk Products & Data Strategy (RPDS) crew, working tirelessly to identify new opportunities and develop innovative solutions that drive business success.

Job Responsibilities

As a Data Strategy Professional at blithequark, you'll play a key role in shaping our data strategy and driving business growth through data-driven insights. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development of revolutionary and impactful strategies through our strategic partnerships to drive business growth and credit & fraud risk management excellence
  • Analyzing existing and new data assets to identify opportunities to optimize our data solutions & purchases and address business needs
  • Reviewing and monitoring data quality, insurance, and freshness to ensure high standards
  • Collaborating with new and existing partners to identify new data opportunities and enhance existing data exchange processes
  • Working closely with colleagues across CFR Data Strategy, Product Owners, Compliance, CFR Risk Strategy, CFR Fraud Strategy, and Decisions Science to drive business outcomes
  • Supporting the team with third-party relationships management and adherence to blithequark's Third Party Lifecycle Management program

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A demonstrated capacity to work independently and across a matrixed organization to deliver solutions at top speed
  • Ability to manage and lead large-scale projects with multiple cross-functional partners
  • Strong technical competencies to perform data analysis, analytics, and matrices tracking/reporting
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, Spark, SAS, and familiarity with big data and cloud environments
  • Experience in a financial services company in a data or process function
  • Knowledge of Credit Risk and/or Fraud Risk standards, practices, or external Credit or Fraud Risk data assets preferred
  • A Master's Degree or higher in a quantitative discipline
