The Role: Customer Support Associate

As a Customer Support Associate at blithequark, you will be the go-to expert for our end-users, handling inquiries and requests across multiple channels. Your mission will be to provide top-notch support, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure that our customers have a positive experience with our platform. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, are proficient in using various support platforms, and have a knack for social media, we want you to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and support requests via multiple channels (phone, email, in-app and web messaging, social media) and ensure that user needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Manage day-to-day operational tasks such as ID verifications, ACH requests, chargebacks, and other related functions.
  • Communicate effectively with end-users across different platforms to deliver positive customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external third parties to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Continuously build and maintain expert-level knowledge of our product to provide accurate and helpful support.

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Prior experience in B2C high-volume customer support, with a proven track record of delivering excellent service.
  • Proficiency in using customer support platforms such as Helpshift or Zendesk.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt your tone and style to different audiences and channels.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, enabling you to support a diverse customer base.
  • Experience in handling customer inquiries via social media and other digital channels.
  • Familiarity with payment processing systems and dispute resolution processes (ACH, credit cards, chargebacks, etc.).
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and overnights, to meet the needs of our customers.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, having experience in the following areas can be a significant plus:

  • Knowledge of the lottery industry or experience working with financial services.
  • Experience with CRM software and other customer management tools.
  • Background in handling sensitive customer information with discretion and confidentiality.
