Overview of the Engagement Director Role
The Engagement Director is a pivotal role that requires a seasoned professional to manage client relationships, ensure delivery excellence, and drive business growth through strategic farming. As an Engagement Director, you will collaborate closely with our Account Management, Delivery, Tech Solutions, and Professional Services teams to enhance client engagements and contribute to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Driving Client Success and Business Growth
- Serve as the primary point of contact for select clients, managing relationships end-to-end, ensuring their needs are met, and providing timely, meaningful feedback to the account team.
- Participate in account planning discussions with Account and Delivery Directors to align on goals and strategies, ensuring successful project delivery and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Be onsite at client offices as needed to identify new opportunities and contribute to business growth through farming strategies, leveraging your industry expertise and network.
- Implement continuous improvement practices and risk mitigation strategies to enhance client satisfaction and project outcomes, ensuring that our delivery excellence is maintained.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive client engagement, ensure seamless project delivery, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Requirements: The Ideal Candidate Profile
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong and diverse skillset, with a minimum of 8 years of sales/commercial experience, and at least 3 years working with US-based clients in the IT/nearshoring industry. You will be a highly energetic and charismatic individual with excellent client and social skills, able to foster strong, trust-based relationships with our clients.
Essential Qualifications
- 8+ years of sales/commercial experience, with a proven track record of success in managing client relationships and driving business growth.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with US-based clients in the IT/nearshoring industry, with a deep understanding of the industry landscape and trends.
- Native or bilingual English level, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be onsite at client offices as needed, with a base location in NYC or the San Francisco Bay Area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, with a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- A proven track record of driving business growth through strategic farming and account planning.
