Job Summary
As a Cloud Support Engineer - Network Infrastructure, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers across various contact channels, including telephone, email, and web/live chat. You will apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions and work with customers to dive deep into the root cause of an issue. You will also drive initiatives that improve support-related processes and our customers' experience, provide feedback to internal AWS teams, and work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers across various contact channels, including telephone, email, and web/live chat
 - Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions and work with customers to dive deep into the root cause of an issue
 - Drive initiatives that improve support-related processes and our customers' experience
 - Provide feedback to internal AWS teams on how to improve our services
 - Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services
 - Continuously learn innovative technologies and develop new technical skills and other professional competencies
 - Act as an interviewer in hiring processes and coach/mentor new team members
 
What You'll Focus On
As a Cloud Support Engineer - Network Infrastructure, you will focus on our Networking services, including:
- VPC (Virtual Private Cloud)
 - Route 53
 - Network Firewalls
 - WAF
 - VPC - IP Address Manager
 - Shield
 - Firewall Manager
 - DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service)
 
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support or customer-facing role
 - Strong understanding of network infrastructure and cloud technologies
 - Experience with AWS services, including VPC, Route 53, Network Firewalls, WAF, and others
 - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
 - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
 - Experience with scripting languages, such as Python or Bash
 - Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP
 - Experience with cloud security and compliance
